This summer, catch a hot movie in a cool theater

At eight locations this July, the Arizona Virtual Academy and K¹² are sponsoring a showing of Disney Pixar’s latest animated feature film Up! for only $2 per person.

For families thinking about enrolling , you’ll have the opportunity to attend an information session about our school and curriculum in addition to seeing Up! And with 2009-2010 enrollment is now open and school starts August 3—which means there's no better time than now to learn how to make a big change in your children's education.  

For currently enrolled families , this is your chance to get out and beat the heat with your friends and family from AZVA. See what they’ve been up to all summer, and share your school expertise and wisdom with others interested in learning more about AZVA and K¹².

What are the AZVA Meeting-at-the-Movies?
These education events give families the opportunity to learn about AZVA in a comfortable environment. In addition to the presentation, families can also ask follow-up questions. And everyone gets to enjoy the Disney Pixar feature Up! at a deeply discounted price!

How do I pay for my tickets?
You’ll pay an AZVA representative once you arrive  at the theater. The cost is $2 per person. Sorry, but we only accept cash. Also, Up! is the only film being offered as part of these events. Families wishing to purchase any refreshments should plan accordingly, as snacks and beverages will not be provided.

Who's this for?
This event is open to both currently enrolled families and families interested in learning more about the AZVA online school experience.

How many people may I bring with me?
You may bring up to six people to this event. If you have friends who are interested in online schooling, encourage them to register early to secure their spots, as space is limited.

Anything special I should know?
Due to limited space and time, families must plan on checking in promptly between 10:00 am and 10:30 am. Doors will close promptly at 10:30 am to allow everyone an opportunity to enjoy the show and presentation. Families arriving after 10:30 am may miss the show, so don’t be late! Plan on arriving at least 30 minutes in advance to allow for ample time for onsite check-in.
