Events Calendar: All Event Types

We regularly provide opportunities for you to learn more about the Agora Cyber Charter School, our community, and the K¹² curriculum that we use. Here we provide a listing of all of the event types currently available from Agora.

  • Jump Rope for Heart Events

    Join Agora teachers and students across the state for our Jump Rope for Heart events. This is a great opportunity to meet Agora students, families, and teachers, and to support a great cause within your community. In addition to enjoying the activities, you will have the opportunity to attend an information session to learn more about Agora, as well as participate in other activities offered at the individual locations.

    • Teaches students to set and achieve goals and discover that they can make a difference!

    Jump Rope For Heart (JRFH) is a national fundraising program sponsored jointly by AAHPERD and AHA. JRFH is a valuable program that promotes physical activity, heart healthy living, and community service to children."

  • Agora In-Person Information Sessions

    Attend an information session for a demonstration of the K¹² curriculum and to get answers to all of your questions about online schooling.

    For students in grades 7-12, these sessions are also an opportunity to fulfill the face-to-face meeting requirement in the event an Enrollment Information Session isn't available in your area.

  • Face-To-Face Enrollment Information Sessions

    The parent and/or legal guardian of every student enrolling in grades 7-12 must attend one of these mandatory events as part of the enrollment process. These sessions are intended to ensure families fully understand the instructional model and expectations of the student, parents and school, as well as identify each student’s individual needs before the first day of school.

    *Please note that these events typically run about 90 minutes.

  • Online Information Sessions

    We use Elluminate Live!, a web-based meeting tool, for our Online Information Sessions. You only need to register online once, and then you will have access to all of our future online sessions. Once you have successfully registered, you will receive login and access information via e-mail telling you how to join the session of your choice.  During these online sessions, we'll review the K¹² curriculum, show sample lessons, and answer any questions you may have.

  • Special Appearances

    We're coming to an event in your area! Come out to meet K¹² and school representatives, learn more about our program, or just get answers to your questions.

  • Pre-Recorded Online Information Session

    Join our pre-recorded online information session for a comprehensive overview of our program. We encourage anyone who is interested in having their child(ren) attend our school to watch this session prior to doing so.
