As you consider Agora Cyber Charter School, remember that your child is required to be enrolled in an education setting.
Enrollment at Agora begins on your child’s first day of school. If you withdraw him from his current school prior to the Agora start date, your student may be considered truant in your local district.
How to Enroll
We’re accepting applications in grades K–8 for a first semester start and applications in grades 9-12 for a second semester start (1/12/15).
Follow the steps below to begin the enrollment process.*
*Please note that students must be enrolled in an educational setting at all times. Families should not withdraw their student from their current school until the school day prior to their first day at Agora. If your student is withdrawn prior to their Agora start date, he/she will be considered absent in your local district which may result in formal truancy proceedings and fines. Families that are starting the enrollment process and their student is no longer attending school, please contact us at 866.548.9451 as soon as possible to make arrangements.
Please note that your kindergartener must be five years old by September 1, 2014 in order to enroll. However, some districts have different age and date requirements. If you need assistance determining the age and date requirement applicable to your student, please contact your resident school district or call us at 866.548.9451.
Steps to Enroll

To ensure a seamless experience, we recommend using Google Chrome or Firefox as your web browser when completing the following steps.
1. Create an Account
The Parent Portal provides on-demand access to our online Application and Admissions Process, real-time alerts to help you stay on track, and quick links to important info.
2. Submit an Application
To submit an application, you'll provide us with basic information about your student and choose an available school.
3. Complete the Admissions Process
To complete the admissions process, you'll provide more detailed information about your student, submit necessary documentation and fulfill any additional requirements related to your student's enrollment.
Agora has some specific requirements that are important for you to note before you get started:
In-Person Information Session
The parent and/or legal guardian of every student enrolling in grades K–12 must also complete the Agora Acknowledgement of Expectations form by attending an In-person Information Session as part of the enrollment process. These sessions are intended to ensure families fully understand the instructional model and expectations of the student, parents and school, as well as identify each student's individual needs before the first day of school.
4. Complete Any Next Steps
All prospective families will participate in a pre-approval telephone conference with an Enrollment Consultant. You may also have additional pre-approval actions depending on your student's individual situation. If this applies to you, you will be notified and instructed on how to complete them.
5. Receive Official Approval
Upon successful completion of the enrollment process, your student will be approved. Please check your email for important information regarding your student's approval and how to access the Online School.
Thanks for your interest in Agora Cyber Charter School! We look forward to you and your family joining our school community soon.
